Version 2.0 firmware for the GY-HM890 is now available to download for free from our support site. It includes adaptive bit rate technology for more reliable streaming, support for Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) to allow a direct connection to a number of content distribution networks (CDNs) for live streaming, and a high quality 12 Mbps mode.

Be first on-air and first on-line with JVC’s new GY-HM890E. This advanced 3-CMOS camera delivers pristine HD images to solid state memory while streaming via Wi-Fi or a plug-in GSM adapter. It features an interchangeable 20x Fujinon auto-focus lens, 4 channels of audio, dual memory card recording at up to 50 Mbps, an external HD-SDI pool feed input, together with a full complement of fibre and multicore studio options. It’s the most feature-rich HD camera JVC has ever offered.
